Praised by Opera News as “a gentle actor and elegant musician” and by The Wall Street Journal for his “mellifluous baritone,” baritone Justin Austin has performed professionally since the age of four. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, to professional opera singer parents, he began his career as a boy soprano, appearing at Teatro Real, Bregenzer Festspiele, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. Austin made his Metropolitan Opera debut as Marcellus in Hamlet and covered the leading role in Fire Shut Up in My Bones. His versatile career spans opera, oratorio, jazz, R&B, and musical theater, with collaborations including Wynton Marsalis, Ricky Ian Gordon, Damien Sneed, and The Roots.

Soprano Jeryl Cunningham-Fleming's vocal artistry has been heard in more than 10 countries and on four continents. Her versatile and vibrant voice, paired with her advocacy for African American music, has made her a sought-after soloist with leading ensembles including the Boys Choir of Harlem and the American Spiritual Ensemble, and at prestigious venues including the United Nations and Lincoln Center. Her repertoire spans opera, oratorio, choral masterworks, jazz, and art song. A noted interpreter of the African American spiritual, she draws on her rich heritage. Cunningham-Fleming serves as Assistant Director of the American Spiritual Ensemble, performing throughout the Americas.

Joseph Joubert is a versatile pianist, arranger, orchestrator, Broadway conductor, and music director whose distinguished career has taken him around the world. Most recently he served as musical director and orchestrator for Cynthia Erivo's sold-out Tokyo performances. His Broadway orchestration credits include The Color Purple, Disaster, Violet, Leap of Faith, and Caroline, or Change. He was Musical Director for Motown The Musical and assistant conductor for Billy Elliot and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Critics have praised his “sensitive and supportive” accompaniment and the “uncommon tonal beauty” of his playing. He has collaborated with Denyce Graves and others.

The CSOT Concert Chorale is the resident vocal ensemble of Courtney’s Stars of Tomorrow. Comprising professional singers from across the New York metropolitan area, the ensemble performs a diverse repertoire spanning opera, oratorio, choral masterworks, spirituals, and contemporary works. Through concerts, recordings, and artistic collaborations, the Chorale serves as the organization’s principal vocal ensemble, bringing together accomplished artists in performances that reflect CSOT’s commitment to artistic excellence and meaningful engagement with classical music. Its work also supports premieres, special projects, and community-centered programming that broaden access to the art form and connect audiences with exceptional vocal artistry across diverse communities.

Courtney Carey is an American baritone, conductor, composer, and arts administrator whose work expands access to classical music through performance, recording, publishing, and education. Founder and Artistic Director of Courtney’s Stars of Tomorrow, he has presented orchestral, choral, and operatic performances throughout New York City while supporting artists and creating new work, reaching audiences across the United States and through international recording projects. His compositions are published by GIA Publications, The Lorenz Corporation, and Carus Verlag. A graduate of Morehouse College, the Eastman School of Music, and Mannes College of Music, Carey continues his recording work with A Baroque Fantasy: Dialogues with Vivaldi, his second album for Navona Records.
